Pam resides in the far northwest corner of Montana and readily professes it to be "the last best place!" She and her husband share their home with three Akitas - Taki, Yuki, and Kootenai, just recently losing very sweet K.C., a former rescue dog who adopted Pam.

Pam has been active in both Akita conformation and obedience showing since getting her first Akita, Nikki (AM/MEX CH & CD) who gave her a crash course in Akita ownership!

Pam and her husband have been known to foster and rehabilitate some of their favorite songbirds that have taken up residence on their property in the forested mountains of Montana.

These former city folks also enjoy sharing their property with other forest inhabitants - deer, moose and bear!

In the summer hiking and long walks with the Akitas are favorite pastimes. Winter pleasures include cross- county skiing and skijoring with Kootenai. A newly discovered fun activity with Kootenai is finding moose tracks in the snow and following them a short ways, leaping through the snow from track to track.

The Akitas enjoy watching all the wildlife; however, nothing is as exciting as watching the squirrels and chipmunks!!!
